Chinese Skiers on Altai Tavan Bogd Mountain, Mongolia
A team of six Chinese skiers embarked on an adventurous journey to Altai Tavan Bogd Mountain from April 30 to May 8, exploring the stunning landscapes of Mongolia. Their expedition was highlighted by a successful climb and ski descent from Nairamdal Peak, standing at 4,085 meters, where the borders of Mongolia, China, and Russia converge. This remarkable feat was achieved on May 3.
Our company had the privilege of partnering with this intrepid team, offering climbing logistics and mountain ski guide services. The primary goal of their journey was to produce a documentary commemorating the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and China, set to be released soon.
This expedition marked the first collaboration between Mongolian and Chinese mountain skiers, paving the way for future adventures. We anticipate that this endeavor will inspire Chinese adventurers to discover the majestic snowy mountains of Mongolia, fostering greater interest in mountain skiing within the region.
We are delighted to have been part of this pioneering project and look forward to welcoming more Chinese skiers to Mongolia's breathtaking slopes in the years to come.
