The Great Tea Road has been called the longest land trade route in the history of mankind, and now a key section of it will be honoured as a travel route seeking to special interests of adventure travelers as you are. There is now a yearning to honour this trading history and the achievements of previous generations. In 2017, as a mark of this respect for the past, the first cycling tour along this legendary route. We are pleased to announce that section of Ulaanbaatar to Irkutsk Tea road cycling tour for those who are not be able to participate whole route due to limited time.

Mongolia - Russia
We start cycle on paved road to the North some way along Legendary Trans Siberian (Mongolian) rail road. We will see how is great Siberian forest south end in north part of Mongolia and big rivers flows out Mongolia towards to Lake Baikal as we are heading to North.  Generally we cycle through Mongolian hilly steppe and Siberian fascinating natural zone of Great forest. You will enjoy interaction with nomadic Mongolians and local Russians witness their interesting culture and  way of living.
General outline of our adventure cycling tour in Mongolia is following:
Day 1: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar.
Rest day in Ulaanbaatar city on your own disposal. Day trip to Tsonjin Boldog and see the largest horseman statue in the world. /Hotel, B L D/
Day 2: Ulaanbaatar to Nuuts Tovchoo.
Say good bye to Ulaanbaatar continue cycle to Mongoliin Nuuts Tovchoo camp. /Ger camp, B L D, Ride-110km/
Day 3: Nuuts Tovchoo to Darkhan.
Nuuts Tovchoo head North to Darkhan, the second largest city of Mongolia. Stay overnight at the best local hotel. /Hotel, B L D, Ride-130km/
Day 4: Darkhan to Khyagt.
Today is the last cycling day in Mongolia and cross border at late afternoon to first Russian village Khyagt in the Siberia. /Hotel, B L D, Ride-128km/
We shall cross the Mongolia and Russia border in a vehicle. We shall continue cycling at Khyagt, border town of Russia to Lake Gusinozersk as soon as we cross the border. Khyagt was the main large town of the Great Tea Road as it was the start point of the long journey of the luxury drink of tea to Europe. On our cycling tour in Russia through the Great Taiga in Siberia, we shall visit Ulan-Ude capital city of the Republic of Buryatia, towns and villages along Lake Baikal to reach to Irkutsk city. You will enjoy interaction with local Russians, witness their livelihood and the way of living and can even trade on nuts, berries and fish with local people. Our cycling tour reaches at finish in Irkutsk city. We shall drive to a small village Listvyanka at Lake Baikal on a day tour on our last day in Russia and celebrate our successful cycling tour on farewell dinner in Irkutsk.

Day 5: Khyagt - to Lake Gusinoye.

Day 6: Lake Gusinoye to Ulan-Ude city.
Start cycle from lake Gusinoye to Ulan-Ude city is the capital city of the Republic of Buryatia, Russia; it is located about 100 kilometers (62 mi) southeast of Lake Baikal on the Uda River at its confluence with the Selenga. /Hotel, B L D, Ride-143 km/
Day 7: Rest day.
Day trip to Tarbagatai village. /Hotel, B L D/
Day 8: Ulan-Ude city to Kamensk.
Cycle day again from Ulan-Ude city to Kamensk. /Hotel, B L D, Ride-116 km/
Day 9: Siberian village Kamensk to Tankhoy.
