The Tour start the tour at Tiananmen Square in Beijing and cycle all the way through the Great Wall of China, vast terrain in Inner Mongolia, Gobi and wide open steppes in Mongolia, Great Taiga in Siberia, the Lake Baikal and finish at Lenin Square in Irkutsk, Russia. This Great Tea Road from China through Mongolia to Saint Petersburg, Russia then broader to Europe has over 200 years of history to introducing and distributing the luxury drink of tea throughout the world and it was critical commercial road between Asia and Europe. A Challenge of a total bike ride of 2,500 km through forest, high mountains and wide open steppes with total ascent of 19,440 metres is all yours with every day of 26 days to offer different adventure to you.

Day 1 - Day 9 CHINA
We start our adventure cycling tour in Beijing, the capital city of People’s Republic of China and shall cycle 800 kms to the north border town of Erlianhaote. The Great Tea Road takes us to a visit to the Great Wall of China and provides us with closest interaction with local Chinese and experience local way of living whilst cycling through local cities and towns of Zhangjiakou, Zhangbei and Xianghaungqi. You will enjoythe way how small villages, tillages, old fashioned houses and buildings along the cycling way match perfectly with the contemporary style.
We start cycling at 7 am every day, cycle our target distance of the day and check in to the hotels we shall rest and spend overnight. We shall cycle an average of 113 kms for 5 - 6 hours every day. Total distance from Bejing to Ulaanbaatar is 1,430 km with ascent 8,069 m. You can enjoy spending your leisure time sightseeing small villages and towns in China in the afternoons. We shall cycle on paved roads. China has right hand traffic rules. Our tour meals and taste shall be Chinese, Khoton and Mongolian. We shall rest and enjoy hot springs in Saikhan Tal and visit Museum of Dinosaurs in Erlianhaote.
General outline of our adventure cycling tour in China is following:
Day 1: Arrival in Beijing.
All participants of adventure cycling tour come and gather at same hotel in Beijing. Have a welcome dinner and tour briefing. /Hotel. D/
Day 2: Beijing city tour by bike.
Beijing city sightseeing tour by bike. Attraction includes: Visit the Gate of Heavenly Peace, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, and Imperial Ancestral Temple. /Hotel, B L D, Ride 96km/
Day 3: Beijing to YanQing.
Morning we start cycling from Beijing to YanQing. /Hotel, B L D, Ride 128km/
Day 4: YanQing to Zhangjiakou.
Continue cycling from YanQing head northwest to Zhangjiakou. /Hotel, B L D, Ride 59km/
Day 5: Zhangjiakou to Zhangbei.

Day 6: Zhangbei to Xianghaungqi.

Day 7: Xianghaungyi to SonidYouqi.

Day 8: SonidYouqi to Erlianhaote.

Day 9: Erlianhaote to Ulaan-Uul.
Today we take all border crossing procedures at Erlianhaote to Zamiin Uud town and continue cycle up to the Ulaan-Uul of Mongolia. /Tent, B L D, Ride 100km/

Day 10 - Day 17 MONGOLIA
We shall cross the border of China and Mongolia in a vehicle. We shall continue cycling through vast terrain and semi gobi steppes as soon as we cross the border. We shall overnight in a hotel in Sainshand town and spend the rest of the nights in tents till we arrive in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. We shall rest one day in Ulaanbaatar and drive to visit the Giant Statue of the Great Chinggis Khaan at Tsonjin Boldog. You can visit any Mongolian families living at Mongolian traditional ger dwellings and taste local Mongolian food of local Mongolians. You may wish to visit and do sightseeing at Sukhbaatar Square, Zaisan Memorial Hill and the Museum of National History. We shall cycle 3 days to reach to the Mongolian and Russian border.

Day 10: Ulaan-Uul to Sainshand.

Day 13: Bayan to Ulaanbaatar.

Day 14: Rest day.

Day 15: Ulaanbaatar to Nuuts Tovchoo.
Say good bye to Ulaanbaatar continue cycle to Mongoliin Nuuts Tovchoo camp. /Ger camp, B L D, Ride-110km/
Day 16: Nuuts Tovchoo to Darkhan.
Nuuts Tovchoo head North to Darkhan, the second largest city of Mongolia. Stay overnight at the best local hotel. /Hotel, B L D, Ride-130km/
Day 17: Darhan to Khyagt.
Today is the last cycling day in Mongolia and approach Altanbulag border crossing village. /Hotel, B L D, Ride-128km/

DAY 18 - Day 26 RUSSIA
We shall cross the Mongolia and Russia border in a vehicle. We shall continue cycling at Khyagt, border town of Russia to Lake Gusinozersk as soon as we cross the border. Khyagt was the main large town of the Great Tea Road as it was the start point of the long journey of the luxury drink of tea to Europe. On our cycling tour in Russia through the Great Taiga in Siberia, we shall visit Ulan-Ude capital city of the Republic of Buryatia, towns and villages along Lake Baikal to reach to Irkutsk city. You will enjoy interaction with local Russians, witness their livelihood and the way of living and can even trade on nuts, berries and fish with local people. Our cycling tour reaches at finish in Irkutsk city. We shall drive to a small village Listvyanka at Lake Baikal on a day tour on our last day in Russia and celebrate our successful cycling tour on farewell dinner in Irkutsk.
